The DAC8168EVM is an evaluation module designed for the prototyping and evaluation of the DAC7568, DAC8168 and DAC8568 digital to analog converters (DAC). These 12bit to 16bit, eight channel string of DACs operate with a high speed serial clock (up to 50MHz) and offer excellent performance with ultra low power consumption. These devices are pin compatible offering an easy upgrade path from 12bit to 14bit and 16bit.
- Flexible power sourcing with a wide power supply range
- On chip output buffer for rail to rail operation
- Compatible with the 5K to 6K interface board, DSK starter kits and HPA-MCU interface board
- Low power serial interface with schmitt triggered inputs up to 50MHz
- Onboard reference and buffer circuits

- Modular design for use with a variety of DSP and DACxx68 DAC controller interface boards
