OP497 is a precision picoampere input current, quad operational amplifier. It is a combination of exceptional precision with low power and extremely low input bias current makes the quad device useful in a wide variety of applications. It uses a superbeta input stage with bias current cancellation to maintain picoamp bias currents at all temperatures. Combining precision, low power, and low bias current, the device is ideal for a number of applications, including instrumentation amplifiers, log amplifiers, photodiode preamplifiers, and long-term integrators. It is widely used in application such as strain gauge and bridge amplifiers, high stability thermocouple amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, photocurrent monitors, high gain linearity amplifiers, long-term integrators/filters, sample-and-hold amplifiers, peak detectors, logarithmic amplifiers, battery-powered systems etc.

• Low offset voltage drift is 1μV/°C maximum
• Very low bias current is 150pA maximum at 25°C
• Very high open-loop gain is 2000V/mV typ
• Low supply current (per amplifier) is 525μA typ

• Operates from ±2V to ±20V supplies
