B5WC Color Sensor

The B5WC color sensor offers reliable detection of changes and differences in color that can contribute to the automation equipment.This color sensor emits light using a white LED as a light source and receives reflected light determined by the color of the detected object (the ratio of red, green, and blue is unique to each color). The color sensor separates the received reflected light into red, green, and blue, and makes and output of red, green, and blue data (RGB data) using the I2C communication method. For example, when detecting red and yellow objects, the reflected light from the white LED is red and yellow, so the red, green, and blue output values output from the color sensor is different, so red and yellow can be distinguished.An example application can be, as the deterioration of lubricating oil in machine tools progresses, it can lead to machine failure. Therefore, monitoring the color of the lubricating oil with the B5WC sensor makes it possible to estimate when it is time to replace the lubricating oil.

G3VM-61T, G3VM-101MT (MT Series)

Omron expands its T-Module line-up with new G3VM-61MT and -101MT. The T-switch design of this SPST-NO module provides virtually no leakage current (≤ 1pA) due to its three MOS FETrelays in one package design. XW4M/N

The XW4M/N terminal block connectors are ideal for interfaces for industrial equipment. B5W-DB

This sensor expands the current B5W Sensor Lineup, offering a variable sensing distance version capable of detecting objects up to over half a meter away. The B5W Sensor has been a key component for object detection applications and touchless switches. The latest version of this product expands the distance capabilities of this sensor, increasing the sensing distance to up to 550mm and adding a variable distance feature. This sensor is produced with space constraints in mind, keeping the smaller package size from the previous super-miniature B5W-LB release. This sensor also operates the same as the previous iterations of the B5W object detection sensors, meaning it will be able to detect a wide range of objects, no matter the color, reflectiveness, or transparency.
