ALS-CAT5W

ALS-CAT5W is a HyperLink wireless brand weatherproof PoE compatible 10/100 Base-T lightning and surge protector. High-speed semiconductors clamp any voltage, positive or negative on the wires. The limits are +/- 58volts on the four cable pairs. The design utilizes thyristor diode technology, which has superior power handling capability compared to TVS or zener diode based designs. The unit is compatible with both normal and inverted polarity voltage PoE equipment. This lightning surge protector is compatible with Cisco legacy network appliance products like access points, DC injectors and other equipment supporting reverse polarity PoE pinouts. Typical applications are IP, network, or web camera, VoIP telephone, 10/100 Base-T Networks, wireless access points, servers and outdoor routers.
