TGP3151

The TGP3151 from AIM-TTI Instruments is a TGP3100 series, single channel, 50MHz pulse and universal generator. It replicates the capabilities of traditional pulse generators whilst adding many additional facilities such as pulse modulations. As well as operating as pulse generators, the instrument can act as high performance noise generator with user defined bandwidth, amplitude density and function/arbitrary generators with 16 waveforms making it truly universal waveform generator. It can also operate in an asynchronously triggered mode with low jitter. A high drive capability output stage enables up to 20V pk-pk to be driven into a 50 ohm load. Typical applications include stress testing designs adding defined jitter and or delay, clock frequency simulation with glitch free pulse parameter changes, data sequencing patterns for serial data testing, asynchronous pulse signal conditioning, propagation delay testing, op-amp slew rate and asymmetrical characterisation.
