Product Overview
AD7091R-8 family is an 8 channel 12bit, ultralow power, successive approximation analog to digital converter (ADC). AD7091R-8 family offers up to eight single-ended analog input channels with a channel sequencer that allows a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially. It use advanced design techniques to achieve ultralow power dissipation at high throughput rates. Typical application includes battery-powered systems, personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications, instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, optical sensors and diagnostic/monitoring functions.
- Wide operating range: specified for VDD of 2.7V to 5.25V
- Flexible power/throughput rate management: normal mode 1.4mW at 1MSPS
- Power-down mode: 550nA typical at VDD = 5.25V and 435nA typical at VDD = 3V
- 1MSPS throughput with no latency/pipeline delay and INL: ±0.7LSB typical, ±1.0LSB maximum
- SNR: 70dB typical at 10KHz input frequency and THD: -80dB typical at 10KHz input frequency
- On-chip accurate 2.5V reference, 5ppm/°C typical drift
- SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP compatible digital interface and integrated programmable channel sequencer
- Built in features for control and monitoring applications and programmable ALERT interrupt pin
- 24 lead LFCSP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
