Product Overview
AD7472 is a 12bit high speed, low power, successive approximation ADC. It use advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. The part also offers flexible power/throughput rate management. It is also possible to operate the parts in an auto sleep mode, where the part wakes up to do a conversion and automatically enters sleep mode at the end of conversion. This method allows very low power dissipation numbers at lower throughput rates.
- Specified for VDD of 2.7V to 5.25V
- 1.5MSPS throughput
- Low power: 3.54mW typ at 1.2MSPS with 3V supplies and 8.7mW typ at 1.5MSPS with 5V supplies
- 20MHz typ full power bandwidth at 3dB
- 70dB typ SNR at 500KHz input frequency
- Flexible power/throughput rate management
- No pipeline delays
- High speed parallel interface
- 24 lead TSSOP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
