                      Product Overview

                      AD7476AYKSZ-500RL7 is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, successive-approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It operates from a single 2.35V to 5.25V power supply and features throughput rates up to 1MSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 13MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS, and the conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the parts. It uses advanced design techniques to achieve low power dissipation at high throughput rates. It is used in applications such as battery-powered systems, personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications, instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, high speed modems, optical sensors.

                      • No pipeline delays, high speed serial interface, SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE/DSP compatible
                      • Signal-to-noise ratio is 71dB minimum at (VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V, TA = 25°C)
                      • Full power bandwidth is 13.5MHz typical at (3dB, VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
                      • Integral nonlinearity is ±0.75LSB typical at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
                      • Conversion time is 800ns maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
                      • Track-and-hold acquisition time is 250ns maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
                      • Floating-state leakage current ±1μA maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
                      • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 6-lead SC70 package
