Product Overview
AD7608 is an 18bit, 8-channel simultaneous sampling, analog-to-digital data acquisition system (DAS). The part contains analog input clamp protection, a second-order antialiasing filter, a track-and-hold amplifier, an 18bit charge redistribution successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a flexible digital filter, a 2.5V reference and reference buffer, and high speed serial and parallel interfaces. Typical application includes power line monitoring and protection systems, multiphase motor controls, instrumentation and control systems, multi-axis positioning systems and data acquisition systems (DAS).
- True bipolar analog input ranges: ±10V, ±5V and single 5V analog supply, 2.3V to 5.25V VDRI
- Fully integrated data acquisition solution: analog input clamp protection
- Input buffer with 1Mohm analog input impedance
- Second-order antialiasing analog filter and on-chip accurate reference and reference buffer
- 18bit ADC with 200KSPS on all channels and oversampling capability with digital filter
- Flexible parallel/serial interface and SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP compatible
- Performance: 7KV ESD rating on analog input channels
- 98dB SNR, −107dB THD, Low power: 100mW and standby mode: 25mW
- 64 lead LQFP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
