Product Information
Product Overview
AD7671 is a 16bit, charge redistribution SAR, analog-to-digital converter that operates from a single 5V power supply. It contains a high speed 16bit sampling ADC, a resistor input scaler that allows various input ranges, an internal conversion clock, error correction circuits, and both serial and parallel system interface ports. The AD7671 is hardware factory-calibrated and is comprehensively tested to ensure such AC parameters as signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and total harmonic distortion (THD), in addition to the more traditional dc parameters of gain, offset, and linearity.
- Throughput: 1MSPS (warp mode) and 800KSPS (normal mode)
- INL: ±2.5LSB max, S/(N+D): 90dB typ at 20KHz, THD: -100dB typ at 20KHz
- 16bit resolution with no missing codes and no pipeline delay
- Analog input voltage range: bipolar: ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V and unipolar: 0V to 10V, 0V to 5V, 0V to 2.5V
- Both AC and DC specifications
- Parallel (8/16bits) and serial 5V/3V interface
- SPI®/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP compatible
- Power dissipation: 112mW at 1MSPS and power-down mode: 7µW max
- 48 lead LQFP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
