Product Overview
AD7734 is a 4-channel, ±10V input range, high throughput, 24bit Sigma-Delta ADC. The AD7734 is a high precision, high throughput analog front end. True 16bit p-p resolution is achievable with a total conversion time of 500μs (2KHz channel switching), making it ideally suitable for high resolution multiplexing applications. The device can be configured via a simple digital interface, which allows users to balance the noise performance against data throughput up to 15.4KHz. Typical applications include PLCs/DCS, multiplexing applications, process control and industrial instrumentation.
- High resolution ADC: 24 bits no missing codes and ±0.0025% nonlinearity
- Optimized for fast channel switching: 18bit p-p resolution (21bits effective) at 500Hz
- 16bit p-p resolution (19bits effective) at 2KHz and 14bit p-p resolution (18bits effective) at 15KHz
- On-chip per channel system calibration
- 4 single-ended analog inputs: input ranges +5V, ±5V, +10V, ±10V
- Overvoltage tolerant, up to ±16.5V not affecting adjacent channel and up to ±50V absolute maximum
- 3-wire serial interface: SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE and DSP compatible and schmitt trigger on logic input
- Single-supply operation: 5V analog supply and 3V or 5V digital supply
- 28 lead TSSOP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 105°C
