Product Information
Product Overview
AD7791 is a low power, buffered 24bit Sigma-Delta ADC, complete analog front end for low frequency measurement applications. It contains a low noise 24bit Ʃ-Δ ADC with one differential input that can be buffered or unbuffered. The device operates from an internal clock. Therefore, the user does not have to supply a clock source to the device. Typical application includes smart transmitters, battery applications, portable instrumentation, sensor measurement, temperature measurement, pressure measurement, weigh scales and 4 to 20mA loops.
- Power supply: 2.5V to 5.25V operation, normal: 75μA max and power-down: 1μA max
- RMS noise: 1.1μV at 9.5Hz update rate
- 19.5bit p-p resolution (22bits effective resolution)
- Integral nonlinearity: 3.5ppm typical and ±15ppm of FSR max
- Simultaneous 50Hz and 60Hz rejection
- Internal clock oscillator
- Rail-to-rail input buffer and VDD monitor channel
- 3-wire serial SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, DSP-compatible and schmitt trigger on SCLK
- 10 lead MSOP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 105°C
