Product Overview
AD7922 is a 12bit high speed, low power, 2-channel successive approximation ADC. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier, which can handle input frequencies in excess of 6MHz. Typical applications include battery-powered systems (personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications), instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, high speed modems and optical sensors.
- Fast throughput rate: 1MSPS, ±1.5LSB max INL at VDD = 2.35V to 3.6V
- Specified for VDD of 2.35V to 5.25V
- Power dissipation: 20mW at VDD=5V, fSAMPLE = 1MSPS normal mode, 5µW full power-down at VDD=5V
- 70dB min SINAD at fIN = 100KHz sine wave, -81dB typ THD and 8.5MHz typ full power BW at 3dB
- Flexible power/serial clock speed management
- No pipeline delays
- High speed serial interface: SPI®/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP compatible
- Standby mode: 1µA maximum and daisy-chain mode
- 8 lead MSOP package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
