Product Information
Product Overview
LTC2165 is a 16bit A/D converter designed for digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals. Ultralow jitter of 0.07psRMS allows under sampling of IF frequencies with excellent noise performance. The digital outputs can be either full rate CMOS, double data rate CMOS, or double data rate LVDS. A separate output power supply allows the CMOS output swing to range from 1.2V to 1.8V. The ENC+ and ENC– inputs may be driven differentially or single-ended with a sine wave, PECL, LVDS, TTL, or CMOS inputs. An optional clock duty cycle stabilizer allows high performance at full speed for a wide range of clock duty cycles. It is widely used in application such as communications, cellular base stations, software defined radios, portable medical imaging, multichannel data acquisition, non destructive testing etc.
- Signal-to-noise ratio is 76.8dBFS typical at (5MHz input)
- Spurious free dynamic range is 90dBFS typical at (5MHz input)
- Power dissipation is 194mW typical
- Single 1.8V supply, selectable input range is 1VP-P to 2VP-P
- Full power bandwidth is 550MHz typical
- Optional data output randomizer, sampling frequency is 125MHz maximum
- Shutdown and nap modes, integral linearity error is ±2LSB typical
- Serial SPI port for configuration, differential linearity error is ±0.5LSB typical
- Operating temperature is -40°C to 85°C
- Package style is 48-lead plastic QFN
