Product Overview
LTC4316IDD#TRPBF is a single I²C/SMBus address translator. It enables the hardwired address of one or more I²C or SMBus server devices to be translated to a different address. This allows servers with the same hardwired address to coexist on the same bus. Only discrete resistors are needed to select the new address and no software programming is required. Upto 127 different address translations are available. It incorporates a pass-through mode which disables the address translation and allows general call addressing by the host. It is designed to automatically recover from abnormal bus conditions like bus stuck low or premature STOP bits. It is used in applications such as I²C, SMBus address expansion, address translation, servers, telecom.

- Prevents SDA and SCL corruption during live board insertion and removal
- Input supply range from 2.25V to 5.5V
- Input supply current is 0.6mA typical at (ENABLE = 3.3V, SCLIN = SDAIN = 0V)
- Hysteresis is 50mV typical at (TA = 25°C, VCC = 3.3V)
- Leakage current is ±10μA maximum at (SDA, SCL pins = 5.5V, 0V, VCC = 5.5V, 0V)
- Maximum SCLIN clock frequency is 400KHz minimum at (TA = 25°C, VCC = 3.3V)
- Pin capacitance is 10pF maximum at (TA = 25°C, VCC = 3.3V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, 10-lead plastic DFN
