Product Overview
LTM4650-1 is a dual 25A or single 50A output step-down µModule® (power module) regulator with ±0.8% of total DC output error with ±3% transient output error. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. External compensation allows for fast transient response to minimize output capacitance when powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors. It is used in applications such as FPGA, ASIC, µProcessor core voltage regulation, information, communication systems.
- Input voltage range from 4.5V to 15V
- Output voltage range from 0.6V to 1.8V
- Differential remote sense amplifier
- Current mode control/fast transient response
- Input supply current is 8.4A typ at (VIN = 4.5V, VOUT = 1.2V, IOUT = 25A)
- Temperature coefficient is -2.2mV/C typ at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V and VRUN1)
- Gain bandwidth product is 3MHz typ at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V and VRUN1)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 90dB typ at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V and VRUN1)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Package style is 144-lead BGA
