                      Product Overview

                      The MAX2620EUA+T is a 10MHz to 1050MHz integrated RF oscillator with buffered outputs in 8 pin µMAX package. It combines low noise oscillator with two output buffers in a low cost, plastic surface mount package. This device integrates functions typically achieved with discrete components. The oscillator exhibits low phase noise when properly mated with an external varactor tuned resonant tank circuit. Two buffered outputs are provided for driving mixers or prescalers. The buffers provide load isolation to oscillator and prevent frequency pulling due to load impedance changes. Power consumption is typically 27mW in operating mode (VCC = 3.0V) and drops to less than 0.3μW in standby mode. The MAX2620 operates from single 2.7V to 5.25V supply. It is used in analogue cellular phones, digital cellular phones, 900MHz cordless phones, 900MHz ISM band applications, land mobile radio and narrow band PCS (NPCS).

                      • 9mA supply current and 0.1μA low current shutdown mode
                      • Reverse isolation of 50dB and output isolation of 33dB
                      • Tuning range of ±13MHz at VTUNE = 0.5V to 3V (900MHz band ceramic resonator based tank)
                      • Noise power of -147dBm/Hz at fO ± <gt/>10MHz
