Product Overview
The MAX663CPA+ is a dual mode 5V/programmable micropower voltage regulator in 8 pin DIP package. It can be used as 5V, fixed output positive regulator with no additional components or can be adjusted from 1.3V to 16V using two external resistors. Fixed or adjustable operation is automatically selected via the Vset input. It is ideally suitable for battery-powered systems and also used in LCD display systems, pagers, radio controlled devices, remote data acquisition and telemetry.
- Supply voltage range from 2V to 16.5V
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C
- Low power CMOS, 12μA (max) quiescent current
- 40mA output current with current limiting
- Pin- compatible upgrade of ICL7663
- No output over-shoot on power up
