EX850

The EX850 from Extech Instruments is a true RMS 1000A AC/DC clamp meter with Bluetooth feature. It transmits key electrical readings to Android mobile devices. The EX850 measures AC/DC current and voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, IR temperature, inrush and continuity. This clamp meter has a 1.7" jaw opening for conductors up to 750MCM or two 500MCM. It also has a 4000 count backlit LCD display, auto ranging and manual ranging button as well as data hold, minimum, maximum and auto power off functions. This product has a CE, CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V safety rating. The EX850 works with free Android app to display large, easy to read values for AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, capacitance, resistance, frequency, diode test and temperature (type-K & infrared), up to 10m away. CAT IV 600V safety rating is provided for added protection. A built-in IR thermometer with laser pointer is an excellent trouble shooter for locating hot spots and overheating motors.

Warnings

Use great care when making measurements if the voltages are greater than 25VAC rms or 35VDC. These voltages are considered a shock hazard.

Notes

Do not apply voltage to meter when resistance function is selected.
