Product Overview
Glenair’s HiPer-D® addresses the design and performance deficiencies of the common D-Sub (M24308) connector. Glenair connector engineers took the basic architecture of the D-Sub and significantly enhanced it, addressing all the weaknesses. The result is a high-performance connector capable of fulfilling the needs of today’s demanding electronics applications. Typical market applications include space, Aerospace-commercial/military/general, ground vehicles, industrial, medical, instrumentation and robotics.
- Rugged one-piece machined shells, thermoset epoxy insulators
- Thermoset epoxy insulators
- IP67 sealing (two HiPer-Ds in mated condition)
- Fluorosilicone rear grommets and interfacial seals
- Optional EMI/RFI grounding springs for shell-to-shell grounding
- 200°C continuous operating temperature
- Intermateable with existing D-sub (requires same insert layout)
- High-speed capable with specific insert layouts
- Complete cabling capability- point to point, multi-breakout, overmould etc
- Contact options include: power (up to 23 amps), signal, coax, fibre, El-Ochito
