                      Product Overview

                      TLE7251VSJXUMA1 is a high speed CAN-transceiver with bus wake-up. It is designed for HS CAN networks in automotive and industrial applications. As an interface between the physical bus layer and the CAN protocol controller, the TLE7251V drives the signals to the bus and protects the microcontroller against interferences generated within the network. Based on the high symmetry of the CANH and CANL signals, the TLE7251V provides a very low level of electromagnetic emission (EME) within a wide frequency range. It provides a digital supply input VIO and a standby mode. It is designed to fulfill the enhanced physical layer requirements for CAN FD and supports data rates up to 2MBit/s. On the basis of a very low leakage current on the HS CAN bus interface the TLE7251V provides an excellent passive behavior in a power-down state. Potential applications include gateway modules, body control modules (BCM), and engine control units (ECUs).

                      • Fully compliant with ISO 11898-2, wide common mode range for electromagnetic immunity (EMI)
                      • Very low electromagnetic emission (EME), excellent ESD robustness, AEC qualified
                      • Guaranteed loop delay symmetry to support CAN FD data frames up to 2MBit/s
                      • VIO input for voltage adaption to microcontroller supply, extended supply range on VCC, VIO supply
                      • CAN short circuit proof to ground, battery and VCC, TxD time-out function
                      • Low CAN bus leakage current in power-down state, overtemperature protection
                      • Protected against automotive transients, stand-by mode with remote wake-up function
                      • Wake-up indication on the RxD output, transmitter supply VCC can be turned off in stand-by mode
                      • Transmitter supply voltage range from 4.5 to 5.5V
                      • PG-DSO-8 package, junction temperature range from -40 to 150°C
