Product Overview
FPM-50S is a mini optical power meter. It is perfect for measuring both the absolute optical power and relative power loss in fiber optic cables. It also features a built-in visual fault locator and network cable tester and remote.
- Measures power using a wide variety of wavelengths from 800-1650nm, with a mere 0.01dB resolution
- Measures 10 preset calibrated wavelengths with high precision to determine absolute/relative power
- LED screen is backlit for viewing in low light locations, 10min auto-off helps preserve battery life
- Built-in 2mW visual fault locator (VFL) identifies faults in fiber cable in a pinch
- Tests RJ45 connectorized network cables using built-in remote
- Comes with FC and LC adapters so that fiber connectors can be directly connected to the tool
- FC/SC adapters are for APC/PC/UPC connectors
- Powered by (2) AAA batteries
- Dimension is 4.36in x 2.66in x 1.09in
