Product Overview
XF-1044-FAR is a BS mineral insulated type K thermocouple with a threaded pot. It is made of Inconel® alloy 600 that has excellent oxidation resistance to 1100°C (not suitable for Sulphur bearing atmospheres above 550°C). Typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man-made fiber and synthetic material production, steam boilers, paper industry, etc.
- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- Insulated hot junction
- Probe temperature range from -40°C to +1100°C
- M8 x 1.0mm fine pitch threaded pot seal
- 100mm 7/0.2mm PVC insulated tails, color coded to former British standard – BS1843-1952
- Conforms to IEC 584-1 and 2
- Single element, junction insulated from sheath (offers protection against electrical noise)
- 105°C maximum pot seal rating
- 6mm probe diameter, 1000mm probe length
- Brown positive tail wire, blue negative tail wire
