Product Overview
XF-1987-FAR is a thermocouple brake pad temperature sensor. This thermocouple sensor is to be used to monitor the temperature of brake pads up to +400°C. It is designed to be embedded into the pads. Each sensor has 1m of fiber glass insulated cable, with stainless steel overbraid. Each tip is sealed with a high temperature ceramic paste (fortafix) which can withstand temperatures up to +400°C.

- Designed for monitoring the temperature of brake pads
- Sensor type is grounded junction
- Tip length is 0.157inch, cable length is 3.28foot
- Cable type is fiber glass with stainless steel overbraid 7/0.2mm
- Bare tails termination
- Meets ANSI MC96.1 standards
- Color is positive: red and negative: yellow
- Potting sealant is ceramic paste (fortafix)
