Product Overview
The 1.5KE250CA from Littelfuse is a 1500W, bidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It is constructed with glass passivated chip junction. It features excellent clamping capability, fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The 1.5KE series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.

- Breakdown voltage VBR is 237V minimum and 263V maximum at 1mA
- Maximum reverse leakage is 1µA
- Maximum clamping voltage VC is 344V
- Maximum peak pulse current is 4.4A
- Steady state power dissipation on infinite heat sink at TL=75°C is 6.5W
- Peak forward surge current IFSM is 200A
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +175°C, IEC-61000-4-2 ESD 30KV(air), 30KV (contact)
