The 230415 from Megger is a AC high pot tester. It is designed for safety, ease of operation and readily adapt to development, maintenance or production testing. The AC high pot tester features front-panel, NEMA 5-15R three prong output receptacle and booted alligator clip output. Test voltage is continuously adjustable from zero to full output with zero start interlock. Pushbuttons are provided to select one second or continuous testing to turn off the high voltage and to reset instrument. The instruments also feature an interlock that prevents high voltage from being applied if supply ground wire is open or if hot and neutral wires are interchanged. This feature may be bypassed when testing double insulated devices or when using test probes.
