The 24-16073 from Stellar Labs is a 600V irradiated 25ft stranded 22AWG orange coloured hook up wire. The stranded hook up wire for point to point wiring. Perfect for internal, 600V, point to point wiring of meters, panels, appliance wiring, electrical and electronic equipment. Typical PVC wire insulation softens and discolours at soldering temperatures. Irradiated PVC insulation has been exposed to high energy radiation to cross link the plastic molecules thus reducing the problems encountered during soldering. This also makes the insulation much tougher with a smoother surface, perfect when feeding through tight chassis areas. It is approved by Mil-W-16878/1, UL style 1429, CSA - XLPVC, Passes UL VW-1 flame test industrial standards.
