The MC34063LBBEVB is a switching control circuit evaluation board for MC34063 buck/boost/inverting switching regulator. The MC34063 is a switching control circuit for use in DC to DC converters. With an on board switch capable of delivering 1.5A, this versatile controller can be utilized in step up, step down, buck boost, or voltage inverting topologies with a minimum number of components. These buck/boost/inverting switching regulators consists of an internal temperature compensated reference, comparator, controlled duty cycle oscillator with an active current limit circuit, driver and high current output switch.
