Product Overview
The PD 1/8-0 is a Heat-shrink End Cap made of semi-rigid encapsulant-lined polyolefin. It provide a splash-resistant, moisture-resistant covering (but not intended for use where immersion in fluids is required). The PD series cap offers an improved, inexpensive way to encapsulate crimped electrical connections, including those on motor coils. Its encapsulant lining melts and flows to fill surface irregularities of the substrate. This vibration-proof cap is used to insulate and terminate dead-end electrical cables, fixtures, connectors and other electrical components.
