The Tango 37 answers the need for a single antenna package that can operate local wireless connections between sensor and control units at the same time as long range connections over the 4G network. Typically, many local short range wireless needs are for switching products on and off in buildings without using wires from the controller to the switch. Additionally, if the same controller needs to be receiving or sending information on a wider scale then an LTE modem or router is an accepted way of doing this. Up until now this kind of situation would have needed two separate antennas. The Tango 37 is a small weather resistant package of just 80mm Ø x 13mm height; ideal for outside deployment. With the coming of buildings being controlled over the internet & from mobile phones, this antenna makes the job easy. Think NEST temperature controllers for the home.
