New President Named At Newark
LONDON/CHICAGO, IL (December 1, 2003)
Premier Farnell (LSE:pfl, NYSE:PFP) has announced the appointment of Paul Tallentire as President of its US subsidiary, Newark, the #1 small quantity distributor of electronic components and test equipment in North America. The appointment becomes effective December 4, 2003.
Mr. Tallentire joined Premier Farnell in May 2000, and has been Regional Director, Western Europe, within its Marketing and Distribution Division (MDD) since December 2001. He has also been Managing Director of Premier Farnell's KENT business in the UK. His previous experience includes 17 years in a range of technical, marketing and general management roles.
John Hirst, Premier Farnell Chief Executive, commented that "Paul Tallentire has already made a significant contribution to the organization within his previous positions at KENT and within MDD. He also played a central role in the integration of BuckHickman InOne.
