Product Overview
The 1579007-1 from AMP - TE Connectivity is an extraction tool. This extraction tool consists of the extraction tool handle and a tool tip. The extraction tool tip is designed to enter the contact cavity in front of the MCP2.8 connector and release the receptacle contact. When the extraction tool tip is bottomed in the contact cavity, the tip depresses the locking lances of the receptacle contact. The contact can be removed from the housing by manually pulling on the wire.
