Product Overview
TLD5099EPVSEPICEVALTOBO1 is an evaluation board in SEPIC topology designed as constant voltage regulator. The evaluation board for medium power application with TLD5099EP configured in voltage-mode SEPIC topology. It can be implemented as a DC-DC power supply with constant voltage output. The default configuration of the board is voltage-mode SEPIC topology without any additional features enabled. In this configuration, it can deliver up to 12W to the load with an efficiency above 85%. Auxiliary circuits which protect the DC-DC and the load during short to ground, forcing the current to zero, are not present. The short to ground current is limited to a few amps by the embedded current control loop.
- Input supply voltage range from 8 to 27V (Down to 6.5V for less than 2s)
- 1A maximum output current at resistive load
- 400kHz switching frequency at VIN = 13.2V, spread spectrum "on"
- Efficiency is greater than 85% (measured with a 12ohm power resistor as load)
- 12V output voltage (output voltage related to ground)
- 16V output overvoltage protection (output voltage related to ground)
