MAX33041EASA+ is a +3.3V control area network (CAN) transceiver with integrated protection for industrial applications. This device has extended ±40V fault protection on CANH and CANL for equipment where overvoltage protection is required. It also incorporates high ±40kV ESD HBM and an input common-mode range (CMR) of ±25V on CANH and CANL, exceeding the ISO 11898-2 CAN standard of -2V to +7V. It makes this part is well suited for applications where there is moderate electrical noise that can influence the ground levels between two nodes or systems. This part features a shutdown pin and a multifunction standby pin. This device operates at a high-speed CAN data rate, allowing upto 5Mbps on short distance networks. It is used in applications such as industrial equipment, instrumentation, motor control, building automation, industrial drone, service and educational robot.

- Driver rise time is 20ns typical at (RCM = open, VSTBY = 0V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead SO package
