The 8KJ1-0727-0250 is a Ribbon Cable Assembly with 64-position PCI express x4 plug and PCI express x 4 receptacle on either side of the 30AWG silver plated signal wire ribbon cable. This twinaxial extended card cable construction has a thin aluminum inner layer exposed at each edge. Insulating tape may be applied at the cable assembly level, as needed, to cover the exposed edge in risk areas. This assembly is one-to-one direct extenders, including power and low-speed signals that are part of the PCI express specification. The assembly plugs into a PCIe card slot and provides another slot at the opposite end. The assemblies can be folded to provide unique and specific geometries, maximizing the use of space and reducing obstruction to airflow.
