EPS300-3/4-48-BLACK-5 PCS

The EPS300-3/4-48"-BLACK-5 PCS is a black flexible Heat-shrink Tubing made of polyolefin with an internal layer of special thermoplastic adhesive. This EPS-300 series meltable inner wall of tubing forms a moisture proof barrier. Its 3:1 ratio helps to seal uneven surfaces such as connectors and components. The heat-shrinkable outer wall is selectively cross-linked, while maintaining the high flow and excellent adhesion of the inner sealant liner. When heated in excess of 121°C, the tubing rapidly shrinks to a skin-tight fit, forcing the melted adhesive lining to flow and cover the substrate. The adhesive forms a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals. Upon cooling, the adhesive solidifies forming a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water resistant barrier. It offers excellent environmental protection for wire splices, wire bundles and harness breakouts. The wiring splices and harness breakouts are quickly and easily protected from harsh environments.
