Product Overview
The 161 Cds(cadmium-sulphide) photoresistor is a tiny LED sensor device that changes light intensity due to change in resistance. To use, connect one side of the photo cell to power and the other side to microcontroller analogue input pin. Then connect a 10K pull down resistor from analogue pin to ground. The voltage on the pin will be 2.5V or higher when it light out and near ground when it is dark.
- Dimension is 4.46mm x 5mm x 2.09mm (L x W x H)
- Resistance is 200KΩ in dark and 5 to 10KΩ in light
- CdS cells respond to light wavelength of 400nm (violet), 600nm (orange), 520nm (green).
