6505

The 6505 from AEMC is a digital/analogue megohmmeter with large dual display in rugged dual wall weatherproof field case. It include automatic calculation and presentation of the dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), polarization index (PI) and dielectric discharge (DD). The Model 6505 displays the test voltage, insulation resistance and leakage current during test. Capacitance of sample and discharge voltage present at test leads is displayed at conclusion of the test. This meter is designed with highest level of built-in safety features. It is designed and built to IEC safety standards and EN 61010-1, 1000V Cat. III. It is used in test insulation on cables, transformers, motors, generators, insulators and wiring installations, high resistance or absorption tests, spot reading tests and timed resistance measurements.
