Product Overview
AD5551 is a single, 14bit, serial-input, voltage output DAC that operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The DAC output range extends from 0 V to VREF. This DAC provides 14bit performance without any adjustments. The DAC output is unbuffered, which reduces power consumption and offsets errors contributed by an output buffer. Application includes digital gain and offsets adjustment, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems and industrial process control.

- Unbuffered voltage output capable of driving 60Kohm loads directly
- SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE-compatible interface standards
- Power-on reset clears DAC output to 0V (unipolar mode)
- Minimum resolution is 14bits (VDD=2.7V to 5.5V, 2.5V ≤ VREF ≤ VDD)
- Typical reference -3dB bandwidth is 2.2MHz (all 1s loaded, VDD=2.7V to 5.5V)
- Operating temperature rating range from -40 to +85°C
- 8-lead SOIC-N package
