ADP1765 is a low noise, low dropout (LDO) linear regulator. It is designed to operate from a single input supply with an input voltage as low as 1.10V without the requirement of an external bias supply to increase efficiency and provide upto 5A of output current (IOUT). The low 59mV typical dropout voltage at a 5A load allows the device to operate with a small headroom while maintaining regulation and providing better efficiency. This device is optimized for stable operation with small 22µF ceramic output capacitors. It is used in application such as regulation to noise sensitive applications such as RF transceivers, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC) circuits, phase-locked loops (PLLs), voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) and clocking integrated circuits, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and digital signal processor (DSP) supplies, medical and healthcare, industrial and instrumentation etc.

• Low input voltage range is 1.10V to 1.98V, power-good indicator
• Output noise is 2µV rms typ at (100Hz to 100KHz, VIN = 1.1 V, VOUT = 0.9V)
• Noise spectral density is 5nV/√Hz typ at (10KHz, TA = 25°C), precision enable
• Soft start current is 10µA typical at (1.1V ≤ VIN ≤ 1.98V)
• Operating supply current is 5mA typical at (OUT = 0µA, VIN = VOUT + 0.2V)
• ±1.5% fixed output voltage accuracy over line, load, and temperature
• Excellent load/line transient response, soft start to reduce inrush current
• Current-limit and thermal overload protection
• Power supply rejection ratio is 61dB typical at (10KHz, VOUT = 1.3V, VIN = 1.7V)
• Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C, package style is 16-lead LFCSP
