Product Overview
LTC®6912 is a of dual-channel, low-noise, digitally programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with a serial digital interface that is easy to use and occupies very little PC board space. It consists of 2 matched amplifiers with rail-to-rail outputs. When operated with unity gain, this will also process rail-to-rail input signals. A half-supply reference generated internally at the AGND pin supports single power supply applications. Typical applications are data acquisition systems, dynamic gain changing, automatic ranging circuits, automatic gain control.
- 2 channels with independent gain control (0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64V/V)
- Channel-to-channel gain matching of 0.1dB maximum
- 3-wire SPI™ interface, extended gain-bandwidth at high gains
- Wired-OR outputs possible (2:1 analog MUX function)
- Rail-to-rail input range, rail-to-rail output swing
- Total supply voltage (VS) range from 2.7 to 10.5V (TA=25°C. VS=5V, AGND=2.5V, Gain=1, RL=10k)
- Slew rate is 12V/µs typical (VS=5V, VOUTA=VOUTB=1.1V to 3.9V, gain=1)
- Gain bandwidth product is 33MHz typ (gain=100, TA=25°C. VS=5V, AGND=2.5V, RL=10K)
- 16-lead narrow plastic SSOP package
- Operating temperature rating range from -40°C to 85°C
