Product Overview
The MAX1720EUT+T is a switched capacitor voltage inverter with shutdown in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This monolithic, CMOS charge pump inverter the voltage applied to input and accept input voltage ranging from +1.25V to +5.5V at TA = + 25°C and operate at 12KHz. High efficiency, small external components and logic controlled shutdown make this device ideal for both battery powered and board level voltage conversion applications. An oscillator control circuitry and four power MOSFET switches are included on-chip. A typical application is generating a -5V supply from a +5V logic supply to power analogue circuitry. It is used in local negative supply from a positive supply, small LCD panels, GaAs PA bias supply, handy terminals and PDAs.

- Wake-up time from shutdown is 800µs at IOUT = 5mA
