CM1

The CM1 is a fast curing peelable Solder Masking Agent suitable for protecting contacts during wave soldering. It contains natural latex formulated with high temperature resistant compounds that protect component-free areas during wave soldering. Chemask® may be used to protect pins, posts, contacts and edge connections during conformal coating processes. It is generally compatible with most Chemask® materials used in printed circuit board fabrication. As with any solder masking agent, compatibility with substrate must be determined on a non-critical area prior to use. The natural latex has superior strength and elongation, can stretch to five times cured length without breaking. It is ideal for use as a protective mask during conformal coating process for switches, pins, posts, contact and edge connections. It is also suitable for pin connectors during soldering, temperature sensitive components during wave soldering, sockets and board areas from conformal coating.
