The 858-22-002-30-001101 from Mill Max is an 858 series surface mount spring loaded connector. It is a ruggedized long stroke 4mm pitch spring-loaded connector (SLC) that is aimed at tough applications in rough environments. Ideal for applications where the connector will experience side loading, great variation in vertical engagement, high levels of shock and vibration, high cycle counts and extremes of temperature. It features heavy-duty spring pins with 0.050" diameter plungers that resist bending during the application of side loads. The gold-plated stainless steel 302 spring ensures reliable operation over 1 million cycles and is less prone to stress relaxation when operating at higher temperatures over time (260°C maximum at 1hour, 180°C maximum at 24hours). Connector is designed for manual placement onto .100” Ø solder pads.

• High temperature thermoplastic insulator rated UL94 V-0
• Minimum insulation resistance is 10,000Mohm
• Pistons have a 0.045” mid stroke and a 0.090” max stroke
• Mounting tabs provide secure attachment to PCB and may be specified without threaded inserts
• Each spring pin is rated for 9A at a 10°C temperature rise
• Maximum contact resistance is 20mohm
