Product Overview
DMX to Cat5 Cable Converter (5P Male to RJ45 Female) This handy adapter allows standard Cat5 or higher rated UTP cable to be used in DMX lighting applications. Since Cat5 cable spec is very close to that of DMX cable, it is fully suitable for use. While not shielded, the twisted pair construction of Cat5 cable provides sufficient immunity to outside interference. Simply use one XLR to DMX adapter at each end of the cable.
- 5-pin male XLR to female RJ45 adapter can be interchanged as needed to make custom cables for virtually any application
- Take advantage Cat5 cable that may already be in place
