724MO

The 724MO from SCS is a workstation monitor. This single workstation continuous monitor meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 in accordance with ESD TR12-01. It is intended to monitor the operation of two wrist strap grounding systems and two work surfaces. This product has been designed and tested for use with SCS dual-wire wrist straps and work surface mats. It uses a DC current source to measure a loop electrical resistance. The system uses a special wristband and wrist cord that contain two independent elements. It contains a current limiting resistor. Resistance is monitored as the test voltage passes through one side of the wristband, through the skin of the wearer under band, through second side of wristband, through second conductor of wrist cord that contains a current limiting resistor and finally back to the monitor.
