Product Overview
STEVAL-A6986IV2 is an evaluation board based on ST A6986I automotive 38V, 5W synchronous iso-buck converter for isolated applications. The primary output voltage can be accurately adjusted while the isolated secondary output is generated by a transformer without optocoupler. The board generates an isolated voltage around 5V, easily adjustable, for applications requiring a single isolated supply.

- Operating temperature range from -40 to 135°C for Tj
- Designed for iso-buck topology
- 4 to 38V operating input voltage, 1.9A typical sink peak primary current capability
- Primary output voltage regulation and peak current mode architecture in forced PWM operation
- 300ns blanking time
- Adjustable fSW and synchronization and adjustable soft-start time
- Embedded primary output voltage supervisor, internal primary current limiting
- Overvoltage protection and thermal shutdown
- RDS(on) HS = 180mohm, RDS(on) LS = 150mohm
