Product Overview
The VOL617A-3T from Vishay is a long creepage phototransistor output optocoupler in mini-flat 4 pin LSOP package. It has a GaAs infrared emitting diode emitter which is optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor detector. Device features high current transfer ratio, low coupling capacitance and high isolation voltage characteristics. The coupling device is designed for signal transmission between two electrically separated circuits. Typical applications include battery powered equipment, office machines & programmable controllers.
- Maximum forward voltage of 1.5V at IF = 5mA, reverse current of 100μA & capacitance of 45pF (typ)
- High collector emitter voltage, VCEO = 80V, ICEO = 200nA
- Isolation test voltage of 5000VRMS
- Isolation voltage VIORM = 1050Vpeak
- Low coupling capacitance
- High common mode transient immunity
- UL1577 file no. E76222, cUL CSA 22.2 bulletin 5A, double protection approved
