SNAP-OMR6-C

The SNAP-OMR6-C is a 4-channel isolated mechanical Power Relay Output Module offers four channels of switching for up to 250VAC/30VDC, 6A loads. Each of the four mechanical contacts can be used as normally open or normally closed. It can handle more current than any other SNAP output module and provide channel-to-channel isolation. Each contact on the module can carry 6A. Having more than one channel on at the same time does not reduce the amount of power each channel can carry. Because channels are not polarity sensitive, each channel can switch either AC/DC power, thus potentially reducing the number of modules needed. In solid-state SNAP AC output modules, possible leakage current might cause an electronic input to stick in the ON state. In contrast, a channel on these mechanical power relay modules presents a true open circuit when it is OFF and the module can be used exactly as solid-state AC modules are used.
