Product Overview
HMC641ALC4 is a is a broadband non-reflective GaAs pHEMT SP4T switch. Covering DC to 20GHz, this switch offers high isolation, low insertion loss and on-chip termination of isolated ports. This switch also includes an on board binary decoder circuit which reduces the number of required logic control lines from four to two. Typical application includes telecom infrastructure, microwave radio and VSAT, military and space hybrids, test instrumentation, SATCOM and sensors.
- Integrated 2:4 TTL decoder
- Insertion loss is 1.8dB (typ, DC - 12GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/-5V control)
- Isolation (RFC to RF1 - RF4) is 42dB (typ, DC - 12GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss is 18dB (typ, DC - 12GHz, “on state”, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss is 19dB (typ, DC - 20GHz, off state, TA = +25°C)
- Input power for 1dB compression is 15dBm (typ, 0.05 - 0.25GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input third order intercept (two-tone input power= +10dBm each tone) is 32dBm (typ)
- Switching characteristics is 30ns (typ, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF), DC - 20GHz)
